For Interstate Carriers

FMCSA Online Registration and Compliance Assistant

Figuring out whether a business needs a USDOT Number or Interstate Operating Authority and understanding the registration process is about to get a whole lot easier.

The new Online Registration and Compliance Assistant replaces the “Who Must Comply” tool and clarifies which regulations a company must adhere to, guides them towards a decision on whether they need to register with the agency, and also tells customers which forms they need to complete.
For registration and compliance assistance from the main FMCSA Web site, click here.
