Instructions to Fix Problems with OCC Web Applications Running on Computers Using IE6, IE 7, IE8 on a Windows Operating System.

Some important information on how to set your machine up to run Case Processing and the Oil and Gas database.

• This program prevents Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 7, Internet Explorer 8 with any Windows version from crashing when accessing the Oklahoma Corporation Commission web applications.
• If you are using an Apple computer you do not have to download or install the JInitiator or the windows fix just run it directly from Safari.
• Case processing and the Oil and Gas Database do not run on firefox 3.6 but does run on earlier versions.
• You will be prompted to download JInitiator the first time you use our web applications (See link below). This is required to run the Case Processing and Oil and Gas Database.
• You must be an administrator on your machine to run this application.
• This program will check to make sure that Java and JInitiator have been installed on your machine. If one or both of these programs are missing then we will automatically start the installs for them. If these programs need to be installed you will have to restart this program after each install is finished.

• Make sure you click "Continue" or "Confirm" on any boxes that pop up.
• If you wish to exit this program just press Ctrl-C, press Y and Enter.
